Today media walked around “romanticizing” Sacramento’s downtown in the MLC bounds by finding the beauty within the architecture, shops, and plant life. Also known as the “City of Trees,” Sacramento is covered with the most stunning variety of flora such as sequoia, orange trees, and flower trees. Beginning with the charming park next to the Capital, which also holds multiple statues, it offers a peaceful location to walk around with your friends and supervisors. Additionally, while navigating through the walkable K Street, one honorable mention is the Capital Book bookstore with a Star Wars intergalactic mural leading downstairs to a comic book and Funko-Pop area.
