During the speech from different groups sharing their bills, the K-12 delegates started to speak about the cost of AP Testing that has cost $98 per test that low-income students and families couldn’t afford. They brought up solutions such as using local fundraising, government grants, money from the college board, and allocations. From the K-12 education budget to those who don’t have pre-existing aid answers whose parents or guardians, the annual income falls under 50% of the Area Median Income, are provided financial assistance to take advanced placement examinations covering 60% of the cost.
