Necessary vaccines should be accessible to all students no matter their economic status. Our healthcare committee aims to offer free vaccines for students and their families through a mobile van. Our committee would get funding through nonprofits, partnership with Pfizer and the government as well. In California, 17 out of the 58 counties qualify for the poverty line (California Department of Social Services). By opening 10 vans, five in Northern California and five in Southern California, free vaccines will be offered to children and their immediate families within the counties that qualify for poverty rate.
