Bodie Jenkins is a candidate that emphasizes unification, engagement, and meaningful representation. His values aim to bring delegates both engaged and together beyond individual delegations and creating an environment in which all delegates are properly represented. These Values align with creating a supportive and collaborative environment in which all delegates are able to foster a supportive and collaborative environment in which all delegates are both able to be prepared and contribute.
If elected Jenkins aims to implement several initiatives such as holding virtual meetings before conferences, hold town haul style forms where dealagetes are able to discuss priorities and vote on ideas with the big 3 presiding over it, Jenkins is also proposing a mentorship program pairing new dealagetes together with those whom have already been in the program in order to ease transitions and build connections. Additionally Jenkins is aiming to establish a unified community engagement day and improve communication through small group discussions and group chats in order to strengthen both communication and relationships
Jenkins also shows a strong leadership background with an experience in National Judicial Competition and Judicial court demonstrating dedication, team work, and understanding of formal procedures. As president of mock trail, he showed initiative by writing original cases and training his team year round. His involvement in MUN secretarial, link crew, interact club as treasurer, varsity soccer, golf co captain, and junior student council reflects constant leadership, mentorship, and commitment to community service and student engagement.
Jenkins is a candidate that provides both clear and realistic plans for implementing ideas, for example he explains the town halls would follow established caucus procedures and take place during free time at conferences, making them practical and accessible. His community engagement day proposal includes coordinating data across delegations and collaborating with local non profits. His mentorship program is structured in small groups, short meetings, and ongoing communication.
Jenkins advocates especially for new delegates and smaller delegations, recognizing that these groups often need more support and guidance. His mentorship program, small group discussions, and focus on helping dealagetes choose the right program areas shows jenkins aims to ensure all delegates feel represented, informed, and empowered.
